I dont know what to say.
I drew the owl over a year back. I was so intimidated by it, I couldnt color it for fear of ruining it. So it went into the "WIP-graveyard" drawer until a few months later where I colored the owl and intimidated myself so much that I was afraid to draw a background, since I promised myself I would, but felt inadequate. It returned to the drawer until now.
I love the moon. And the moon loves me.
go figure the first whole-hearted attempt I make of a complete, and full background, would be of the night.
Goodnight
Anyway, I really love this. It's gorgeous. ^_^
The composition is so aesthetically pleasing, like a wood cut print, a wall hanging or a book cover.
The texture on the body... it looks so soft and bright, like a mixture of downy feathers and pure gold, the colours of which go beautifully with the dark blues you've chosen. It truly does look like an embodiment of the harvest! Loving the repetition of the bright, glowing moon in the eyes too :3
I understand the feeling of being intimidated by my own drawings, hell, I'm intimidated by the idea of ruining a blank page!
It really feels good to get feedback like that.
Im so happy you noticed it. <^.^> Thankyou for commenting!
